THE WAA151 anemometer, from Vaisala , is an optoelectronic, fast-response, low-threshold wind speed sensor. The cup wheel has three lightweight conical cups providing excellent linearity over the entire operating range, up to 75m/s.
The WAV151 wind vane is a counter-balanced low-threshold wind direction sensor. It features low inertia and low starting threshold.
Both sensors are equipped with internal heating elements to keep the bearings above freezing level in cold climates.
Installation accessories include the WAC151 cross arm mounting unit or the WAT12 wind transmitter.
The WAT12 wind transmitter is an economic solution to a standard interface between Vaisala's wind sensors and analogue panel meters, chart recorders, digital LCD or LED displays, data loggers or computers and PLC units that require 4-20mA input signals.
