VR Solutions complete demonstration centre
VR Solutions have completed their own demonstration centre, showcasing some of their technology partner’s products. VR Solutions’ head office, situated in Musgrave Street, recently finished construction on its new 2 channel 150 degree cylindrical curved screen utilising 2 channels of Christie Digital HD3 Stereoscopic Projectors.
VR Solutions are able to show large data sets with a pixel real estate of 3208 x 1080 resolution at 120hz stereo frequencies.
Combining this rock solid flicker free stereo format with 150 degrees of curvature filling the viewers peripheral vision, a total immersive effect of data or motion video can be had.
These systems are used by manufacturers of complex machinery like automobiles or concept vehicles and also by Oil and Gas companies who use stereo viewing to scan large virtual underground slabs of the earth's crust, searching for elusive hydrocarbons.
