Plaspak is working with Murray Goulburn to manufacture milk bottles on two EBM machines, providing significant transport and supply chain efficiencies.
The initial plan was to set up the process at Murray Goulburn’s Kiewa site, which involved the relocation of two EBM lines. However, due to a shortage of infrastructure at the site, the Snopak Albury site was chosen as the next best alternative to set up the production area.
Two EBM machines were relocated to the site and included a 350R1 6 head Uniloy machine as well as a 350R2 6 head machine, both producing 3-litre milk bottles.
Plaspak is able to meet all Murray Goulburn requirements with deliveries 6 days a week.
