Uticor ToughPanel touch screen monitors available from Balmoral Technologies offer drop-in replacement for a range of obsolete and limited-feature touch screens.

Plug-n-play touchscreen monitors are available for Allen Bradley Panelview and Panelview Plus, General Electric’s Quickpanels as well as equivalent GP series touchpanels from Proface.

Program conversion is cost-effective while the panel cut-out and external dimensions are identical. Input/Output wiring is also the same.

All Toughpanels have flat panel LCD displays. Additionally, Uticor’s touch screen monitors have many more advanced features that provide the user a distinct advantage over obsolete touch screens:

  • PC-like graphics
  • Flash modules for program storage
  • Recipe and advanced alarm capability
  • Remote NetView and Control
  • Data acquisition and storage
  • Unicode implementation
  • Super fast response to touch input
  • Project upgrade utility
  • Multi-state indicators
  • 4000-symbol library and bitmap buttons
  • Dual drivers, scripting, SPC and visibility control of objects
  • Choice of operating system
  • Database management
  • Syntax checking, on-line edit and on-screen recipe edit
