XYCOM’s 3612T unit, available from Balmoral Technologies , has a standard 12.1-inch flat panel TFT and analogue resistive touch screen.

Pentium III 1.26GHz CPU, 256MB RAM, and standard CD-ROM and floppy provide more than enough power and flexibility for the factory automation applications.

With onboard 10/100 BaseT Ethernet, two USB ports, parallel printer port, one RS232 serial ports, one RS485 or 232 serial port, and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, the 3612T is well-suited for use with virtually any standard PC-compatible device.

The 3612T provides expansion capability via one ½-length PCI card and three ¾-length slots.

It is approved for use in Class I and Class II, Division 2 hazardous locations. It can operate in 0°C to 50°C environments without additional cooling, and can be purchased with MS-DOS, Windows 98, Windows NT, or Windows 2000 (with multi-language support) preloaded and configured to make set-up a breeze.

The 3612T is SVGA\XGA can display resolutions up to XGA (1024 x 768). With its standard 4MB video RAM and up to 32MB total video RAM shared with system memory, the 3612T can display maximum colours and 3-D graphics.
