INW’s AquiStar® PT2X is ideal for observing flow patterns, testing pumps, and monitoring groundwater, well, tank and tidal levels. A pressure and temperature sensor with integrated datalogging, this sensor is constructed with 316 stainless steel, fluoropolymer and PTFE—providing highly accurate readings in rugged and corrosive field conditions.

Pressure and temperature sensor

The PT2X sensor features:

  • Measurement of pressure, temperature, and time
  • Choice of absolute, gauge or sealed gauge
  • Thermal compensation—great where water temperatures vary, such as in streams or industrial tank applications
  • ± 0.05% FSO typical accuracy
  • Both Modbus® and SDI-12 protocols available

Integrated data logging

The built-in datalogger includes:

  • Choice of 130,000-record, 260,000-record, and 520,000-record versions
  • Non-volatile memory—data will not be lost in the event of a power failure
  • Flexible, multi-phase logging sequences—measure at your specified intervals and save instructions to disk for reuse
  • Pause logging feature and delayed start feature

Included software for simple data collection and analysis

INW’s Aqua4Plus control software is included with all PT2X sensors:

  • Aqua4Plus allows you to view your data in real-time, export data to spreadsheets, update sensor via firmware while in the field, and use the barometric compensation utility with absolute sensors
  • Also, the Aqua4Push Data Upload Utility is available for automatic scheduled data collection from multiple sensors, with an optional FTP upload

In order to make your job easier, the PT2X is field serviceable, meaning it’s easy to calibrate, clean and repair without returning to the office. Batteries are also replaceable – no need for your sensor to make a special return trip to the dealer. And the sensor’s low power consumption requires less frequent battery changes – perfect for long-term deployments.

INW's sensors are equipped with future-ready technology, making them a sound investment. Some capabilities that can be utilized include adding cable without modifying the sensor, networking additional sensors, and moving from manual to remote data retrieval by using radios or modems.
