Models 732A and 735 sound level meters
Utilising a standard 9V battery as the power source, the new handheld units provide an easy to read, backlit 3 1/2 digit LED display for clear reading in the darkest environments.
The meters are an extremely fast, highly accurate, feature packed diagnostic tool at a very reasonable price. They are suitable for remotely measuring surface temperatures of motors, electrical equipment, heating, refrigeration and ventilation systems, and insulated walls and pipes.
Both digital sound meters provide three convenient measurement ranges: Low 30 - 80 dB, Medium 50 - 100 dB, and Hi 80 - 130 dB, with an accuracy of +/- 1.5 dB. The meters meet the IEC 651 Type II specification and include frequency weighting A and C and fast and slow time weighting.
Two auxiliary ports provide ac output, 1V rms full scale, or dc output, 10mV/dB. The unit also offers the following features: a 4-digit LCD with 0.1 dB resolution and 0.5 second update cycle, MAX MIN function, low battery indication, electric condenser microphone with windscreen, and auto power off.
Specifications include a dynamic range of 50dB, a frequency range of 31.5Hz to 8kHz, 0º-40ºC operating temperature, and 10-80% RH. A standard 9V alkaline battery with approximately 50 hours of life supplies power.
An optional BE-9 ac adapter is available. The unit’s compact size (275mmL x 64mmW x 30mmH) and light weight (6.5 oz including battery) makes them ideal for single-handed operation.
Both meters come complete with instruction manual, battery, carry case, calibration screwdriver and windscreen. The Model 735 also comes with RS232 software for Windows 95/98/2000/XP. The Model 732A and Model 735 are available for immediate delivery.
Model CAL73 sound level calibrator
The CAL73 is used to calibrate sound level meters and other sound measurement equipment. The user can calibrate 1-inch microphones directly and 1/2-inch microphones using the 1/2-inch adapter supplied. The CAL73 is available for immediate delivery.
