The model 8500 is an affordable fully featured Programmable Electronic DC Load with a high degree of accuracy and great display resolution. The 8500 is a great unit for DC Power Supply and DC-DC Converter testing and calibration as it is fully programmable via the RS 232 or optional USB interface and is ideal for Automated Test Systems.
