Marking solution for metal, plastic and glass

TECHNIFOR has released its latest micro-percussion marking and identification system, the CM400 model, which it claims “raises the bar” for other metal and plastic marking equipment.

The CM400 is available in pneumatic and electromagnetic versions to allow integration into any manufacturing line.

Features include management of marking text (fonts, size, orientation and positioning), easy to operate Windows software, two management levels with safety guards for files, and automatic time/serialisation coding.

Technifor developments in technology equip the CM400 with added benefits such as sophisticated software, two independent marking zones, matrix marking and advanced speeds.

The high frequency of percussions of the pneumatic stylus (300 impacts per second) produces fast continuous lines of high legibility, ideal for making logos, schemes or 2D matrix codes on flat or curved surfaces.

The CM400 large marking area is fully utilised with a rotating arm which moves through a 180° arc over a 524mm (20.6") diameter surface. The arm can be raised to accommodate 400mm (15.7") tall parts, allowing marking for larger parts and longer text strings.

With a large selection of styli, marking devices and accessories, Technifor units will adapt to individual production lines, marking on metals, plastics and glass. Unimark Identification Service 1800 353 054.
