The Ultraspin vehicle wash water reclaim system can be equipped with a back up filter skid which is used where an additional level of filtration of the recycled water in car washes is required.
Industrially, clean, filtered water is used to:
- Provide an additional level of clean water to the wash process (5 micron particle size in lieu of 8 micron particle size, is generated)
- Provide acceptable water quality for the treated water to be used in Touch-Free systems and Auto Washes, where high pressure piston pumps are used.
The Ultraspin back-up filter system comprises of a pressure pump and bag filter all mounted onto a common stainless steel base plate. The pressure pump draws treated water from the re-use tank on the Ultraspin vehicle wash water reclaim system, and pumps it through a stainless steel filter housing, which is fitted with a 5 micron filter bag.
In addition to providing filtered water, the water exiting the back up filter is pressurised for delivery into a customer’s vehicle wash process. In this way a separate pressure pump is not required by the customer. The back up filter pump will switch on and off according to changes in the customer’s wash requirements. In this way water is always available on demand to a customer’s vehicle wash process, without the need for additional instrumentation.
The Vehicle Wash Water Reclaim Systems is available from Ultraspin Technology.
