UltraHawke Scales and Systems have supplied Canzac Pulse Processors at Narrabri in Northern NSW with a multi-deck weighbridge within six weeks. The multi-deck weighbridge was an urgent requirement for weighing small road trains and B Doubles carrying grain to ensure the trucks complied with legal load limits.
The multi-deck weighbridge comprises five individual weighbridge decks with lengths of 6m, 6m, 8m, 8m and 8m to allow all axle groups of the road trains to be individually weighed in a single weighing transaction.
The weighbridge operator can instantly verify if any of the axle groups exceed legal axle weight limits and provides the opportunity to adjust the load to eliminate the risk of incurring overloading fines.
The multi-deck weighbridge displays the total summed weight of all the individual weighbridge decks to ensure gross vehicle mass is not exceeded.
