UltraHawke Scales and Systems extend the GrainCorp Quirindi depot weighbridge



Weighbridge deck
UltraHawke Scales and Systems  are manufacturers of weighbridges and heavy duty weighing equipment in Australia. The eight metre weighbridge at GrainCorp’s Quirindi depot was extended by adding twin eight metre weighbridge decks to meet the requirements of B Double trucks.

New England Weighing Service, re-sellers of UltraHawke Scales and Systems grafted the additional weighbridge decks onto one end of the in-ground Avery weighbridge. They also fitted UltraHawke Scales and Systems’ Flintec RC3 stainless steel load cells for a total weighbridge length of 24 metres.

Rinstrum 5000 digital weight indicators are used to generate weight readings that are relayed to a PC for summing with the weight reading from the Avery weighbridge. Rinstrum 6200 electro-magnetic remote displays, which are fitted to the ends of the weighbridge, allow drivers to view truck weights.
