Ultrahawke’s quarry weighbridge software is being used to track deliveries of road base being used in Victoria’s Southern Freeway Extension. The quarry weighbridge software was custom modified by Ultrahawke to suit Abigroup’s requirement to print specific delivery instructions for the truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries occur to the correct destinations.
The quarry weighbridge software prints a weight ticket against an order number, but now also includes the freeway gate number the driver needs to enter and the UHF channel they will need to use to receive specific delivery instructions from the manager on site.
Abigroup will be providing road base material for the extension and some of the destinations could be 50km from the pit. The quarry weighbridge software, whilst providing a wide variety of functions and reporting, was made as simple to operate as possible for the truck drivers who may have little computer experience.
