Ultra Tooling is a Australian company which provides various moulding products including plastic injection moulds. Plastic injection moulds supplied by Ultra tooling are moulds into which molten plastic is injected to form a specific shape or part. Plastic injection moulds supplied by Ultra Tooling are series of steel plates and guide pins which are assembled in two halves, a fixed and moving half. Each half of plastic injection moulds contains a cavity and core which have been machined so that when the two halves come together a cavity (hollow) is formed in the shape of the required plastic part. The core of plastic injection moulds determines the internal dimensions of the plastic part hence ensures that the part is not solid plastic.
