Ulbrich Products’ Filtration equipment used by Signet Engineering

Signet Engineering - UCMME BHP Cannington Project, Old.

Ulbrich Products  designed, manufactured and supplied Filtration equipment for the BHP Minerals - Cannington Mine Site.

Span - November 1996 to May 1997

Comprising:

• Simplex Basket Strainers
• Quick Acting Duplex Basket Strainers
• Fully Automatic Backwashing (ABW) Strainers

Signet Engineering selected ULBREC Duplex Basket Strainers and Automatic Backwash Strainers for their robust design and because these units, which were designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with AS1210.1989, operate continuously providing constant filtration without the need for shutting down the line to clean the elements.

The ABW Strainers are the forefront of the ULBREC Filter range, with fully Automatic PLC controls, and information feedback to the system mainframe.

The Duplex Basket Strainers have Quick Acting Closures, Single handle Valves and have built in safety features to prevent the opening of the operating side when under pressure.

Ulbrich Products designed, manufactured and supplied Filtration equipment for the electrolyte and the gland water services.

Comprising:

• Quick Acting Duplex Basket Strainers

Once again Signet Engineering selected ULBREC Duplex Basket Strainers because these units are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with AS1210.1989, and provide continuous filtered liquid to the respective services without the need for shutting down to clean the elements.

The Duplex Basket Strainers were selected with Quick Acting Closures, Single Handle Valves and re-cleanable Stainless Steel Mesh elements. Ulbrich Products translated the installation manuals to Spanish for this project.
