New adhesive dispensing on display in Australia

UV Pacific has arranged for the first Australian demonstrations of the Series DX Mixpac PAM dispensing system to be made at the Composites Australia Conference and Exhibition.

The PAM or "Point of Application Metering" system allows for hand held DXH dispensers to apply two component adhesives without the requirement of a MMD or "Meter/Mix/Dispense" system while still gaining the benefit of bulk material supply.

Dual cartridge dispensers which have traditionally been used for hand held operations incur much higher material costs. The PAM system with the DXH dispenser and DXR refill station allows bulk material purchases to be combined with hand held dispensing resulting in significant cost reduction.

The DXH hand held dispenser is available in two sizes, 25ml or 50ml stroke and 1:1, 1.5:1, 2:1, 4:1 & 10:1 ratios. The material reservoirs contain 1000ml and are supplied in both PP and PA12.

The DXR refill station allows for quick, simple, clean and safe refilling of the dispenser reservoirs from 20L pails. The complete system is pneumatically driven and mounted on a mobile platform.

The new and improved Mixpac MFX static mixers are standard with this unit. These mixers provide superior separation of the two components at the dispenser-mixer interface.
