ULTRAsmart's low cost drives coupled with inexpensive PLC units such as Siemens' LOGO deliver a simpler, easier and cheaper way of automating basic repetitive tasks.
The Input Pullup feature on the digital drive AD20DCd/01 makes it a simple task to control forward and reverse from a PLC with relay outputs. Programmable control for less tha $1000.
With the simple addition of an analog output (0-5V dc) the PLC can also control motor speed.
The AD20DCd/01 offers manual forward, reverse, speed and torque control, as well as an electronic brake.
Also on ULTRAsmart’s stand at Automate 2002 will be the ComboSolution and TotalSolution low cost linear motion controllers.
The ComboSolution and TotalSolution products deliver a simpler, easier and cheaper way of automating basic repetitive tasks.
Speed and torque control, electronic brake, three programmable control modes, interactivity with other systems - all for less than $1,000.
Control Modes:
· Potentiometer - simple programming of up to 6 indexing positions and dwells. Continuous cycling or one cycle triggered by input signal.
· Limit switch - cycle between two limits. Program extremity dwell times.
· Multi switch - unlimited indexing positions. Dwell and continue, or dwell and reverse. Program dwell times.
Integrated, custom built, electrical and mechanical "single-solutions" are also available.
