has introduced Universal MATE-N-LOK connectors for sealed bulkhead applications using 0.5-2.0mm2 wire.
The new product mates with existing Universal MATE-N-LOK connectors and uses standard Universal MATE-N-LOK contacts and seals. Bulkhead Universal MATE-N-LOK connectors can be used in a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications such as vending machines, appliances, industrial machinery, lighting and HVAC equipment.
This new design comes in 4, 6, 9, and 12 contact position versions and employs three levels of sealing protection: wire entry seals, an interfacial seal and a bulkhead seal. With this arrangement, the product provides environmental sealing protection to IP56.
Additionally, the rear mount flange design allows the product to be pre-installed on a wire harness with final installation simply requiring the installer to place the harnessed connector into the bulkhead hole and fasten the lock nut.
The four contact position version handles up to 15A per contact on a fully energized connector using 2.0mm2 wire. The twelve-position version handles up to 11A with 2.0mm2 wire.
