Turck Australia announces a new range of fully programmable temperature sensors featuring an integrated resistance temperature detector (RTD).
TURCK’s new TS530 temperature sensors, the latest addition to the company’s temperature sensor line, combine the display, process connection and RTD in a single part for fast and reliable performance.
Rich Tallant, Product Manager, TURCK explains that the TS530 was created to offer a solution that would combine their proven TS400 and TS500 programmable sensors with an integral class A RTD. By combining the display, control, process connection and RTD all in a single part, the TS530 streamlines temperature measurement for customers’ diverse applications.
The user-friendly design features simple, push-button programming and large, highly visible LED displays for easy operation, while a unique rotatable display that can turn up to 340 degrees allows for flexible viewing in the field. The sensor also sends feedback to a PLC, allowing operators to easily monitor measurement performance from virtually any location.
Key features of TURCK TS530 temperature sensors include a new design for easy mounting and installation, allowing users to mount them directly to a tank or pipe with no mounting bracket required using a ½ NPT process connection; and IP69K protection ratings for reliable performance in harsh manufacturing environments. The TURCK TS530 operates in temperatures ranging from -50°C to +150°C.
TURCK's extensive line of products includes advanced sensors, measurement, instrumentation, connectivity, interface and networks for factory and process markets.
