Turck Australia announces the availability of a new white paper analysing bonded pair cables.

TURCK’s latest white paper, ‘Bonded Pair Cable: Does it have a Place in Factory Automation?’ is now available for immediate download online.

Providing an in-depth overview of bonded pair cables, this white paper examines their use and compares bonded to non-bonded pair cables while discussing their role in factory automation applications.

Highlights of the white paper include an overview of twisted pair cables; use of bonded pair cables; comparison of bonded and non-bonded pair cables; and illustrated examples of cable flex.

Reliable connectivity provides the foundation for con¬tinued operation for everything from machinery and manufacturing equipment to industrial Ethernet and field instrumentation in any industrial application. Compared to cables in commercial envi¬ronments, industrial cabling solutions will likely be moved or flexed, with many factory applications requiring continu¬ous movement and flexing of the cable.

It is therefore, essential to determine the appropriate type of cable for a specific ap¬plication prior to installation or use.

TURCK's extensive line of products includes advanced sensors, measurement, instrumentation, connectivity, interface and networks for factory and process markets.
