Australian label application machinery specialist Tronics Pty Ltd has developed an innovative labelling system for shrink bags.
Collaborating with Avery Dennison, Tronics has introduced a new solution to replace expensive direct-printed vacuum shrink bags. Tronics has developed a new labelling system for Avery Dennison's Shrink PS label film. The project was co-ordinated by Tronics national sales manager Shaun Rainier.
Shrink PS is a patent-pending label designed for application to shrinkable bags widely used across the meat and dairy industries. The pressure-sensitive labels are printed and adhered to unfilled vacuum shrinks, withstanding the pressure, heat and water of the vacuum shrink process.
The Australian designed and manufactured Tronics shrink labelling system enables Shrink PS labels to be applied quickly and smoothly to shrink bags.
Rainer explains that the new shrink labelling system is easy to use and built to last, enabling quick toll changes, reel-to-reel labelling or single bag tear-away for easy label and fill.
Tronics shrink labelling systems are manufactured at the Tronics Melbourne site and will be supplied across the Asia Pacific region.
