TRIMBLE Australia has introduced the versatile Spectra Precision Laser CR600 laser receiver. Suitable for a wide range of general construction, grading and excavation applications, the new CR600 can be used as a handheld, rod-mounted or machine-mounted laser receiver.
Featuring a 270-degree reception and a highly visible display, the CR600 is designed for use by general, concrete and site preparation contractors.
For machine control applications, it can be utilised on backhoes, small excavators and skid steer loaders.
The CR600 provides high, low or on-grade information to the operator inside the cab, increasing productivity and safety by eliminating the need for the operator to leave the cab.
It also increases the accuracy of elevation measurements, is very easy to use, and will withstand the harshest jobsite conditions.
A linear LCD display allows for fast, accurate readings and easy fixed offsets. A simultaneous five-channel, super-bright green and red LED display, ensures information can be read even in poor light, over long distances, and at an angle.
The CR600's waterproof magnesium housing can survive a drop of up to three metres onto concrete. It also features wraparound receiver cells with continuous pickup through an operating range of 270 degrees. The end result is less setups and improved productivity, especially for machine applications.
The combination of Trimble and Spectra Precision is creating a broad range of innovative solutions that will change the way construction work is done.
