Trilogiq Australia recently exhibited its LeanTek range of products at NMW 2007. Trilogiq Australia’s stand displayed a customised assembly station, Packing station and towable trolley system as part of its display of Lean Manufacturing ideas in practice.
The assembly station featured flow racking infeed for parts, on overhead monorail for supporting air tools and an assembly bench attached.
The main advantage of this style of assembly bench is that parts flow into the point of use, removing any need for the assembly person to leave the cell. All parts to the right point at the right time.
Also creating interest among visitors was the Trilogiq Tilt Front Picking / Packing rack. In a packing operation, the empty bins are placed on the upper infeed layer and flow towards the operator packing point.
The bin is presented on an ergonomic tilt angle to the operator. The operator packs the finished assemblies, tilts the packing gate and dispenses the packed bin out.
Again the concept behind the design is to provide the bins to the operator, rather than having them leaving the cell to carry full bins or retrieve empty bins.
Trilogiq Australia custom designs solutions to make assembly areas more efficient, saving time, movement and money.
