The Wenglor colour sensor provides reliable colour recognition even with changes in distance, and is designed for user-friendly operation.
Capable of evaluating up to three colours simultaneously, the colour sensor is equipped with two digital inputs, three switching outputs and an RS-232 port for reading out RGB, XYZ and HSL colour values.
A spot diameter of just 3mm and large working range of 30-40mm made possible thanks to single-lens optics, enable complex detection tasks to be implemented in a simple, uncomplicated way.
All sensor settings can be selected by means of Teach-In, as well as via the RS-232 interface. Values generated by the sensor can be read out via the interface or digital switching outputs.
The emitted light can be increased in intensity to detect dark objects.
Intuitive, multi-language menu navigation is facilitated via a graphical display in the Wenglor colour sensors, with multilingual prompting in English, French, German and Italian.
Key capabilities of the Wenglor colour sensor also include detection of self-luminous and dark objects, recognition of extremely fine colour nuances, reflex mode operation, and Teach-In and external Teach-In.
Additional password protection offers security against unauthorised access.
