IGUS has released the Igludur Clip 2 bearings for applications including office equipment, electrical equipment, and automobiles. They are available from Treotham Trading .
The plastic bearings have a truncated slot in the sliding body. This slot allows simplified assembly of the clip by pushing it into the prepared bore hole. The Clip 2 fits precisely and can take high loads. Because it does not shrink it fits snugly into a bore hole.
They do not require lubrication or maintenance and are resistant to corrosion and lightweight. They are available in sizes from 4mm to 25mm. Depending on the application the bearings can be manufactured from any one of the 21 materials.
