Travroute Australia, a leader in GPS navigation industry has released a Personal navigation device in the market.

Travroute are well known for their premium laptop, UMPC, PDA and smartphone GPS solutions but are now expanding their expertise to include the feature rich, low cost PND.

Managing Director of Travroute Australia, Boyd Dainton feels with the new PND, Travroute is well positioned to enter the category.

The PND features spoken distance and direction to turn; communicating in real time where, when and what action to take.

It features three views; 3D, 2D and a written itinerary, allowing you see all the steps of your journey in advance.

Furthermore, if you would like to plan your journey to run to the fast or short route, avoid construction or road tolls the Travroute PND has it covered, allowing you to program into the device your preferred route.

It will also alert you to any fixed speed cameras that may be in the area.

The mapping data is provided by global mapping giants, NAVTEQ who have painstakingly documented 99.7% of populated Australian highways, roads, and addresses.
