Transtech Consulting Services has snared the Australian distributorship for the leading load planning and load optimisation software in the US market.
MaxLoad Pro from TOPS Engineering has the majority of the US software market for vehicle and container loading with clients ranging from Fortune 500 to smaller manufacturers, importers and exporters.
With MaxLoad Pro, the load planner can know and show before he ships. The software automatically determines the “how to” of loading mixed size products on trucks. Extensive databases, colour-keyed graphics and parameter-driven algorithms automatically determine the best cube for your shipment.
MaxLoad Pro includes a drag and drop 3-D load editor. The fork lift driver is then supplied with a colour-coded, printed diagram of the optimised loading configuration for the truck.
To gain greater savings, one US importer runs MaxLoad Pro for maximum container space utilisation and emails the output to his exporter in China for instructions on how the container is to be loaded.
MaxLoad Pro has improved load cubic efficiencies 15% better than previous operations and this translates into dollar savings in transport costs.
MaxLoad Pro is seamlessly integrated with Direct Route, Appian Logistics’ leading load builder and route optimiser. Both products are fully supported by Transtech.
“We are delighted to win this distributorship of a global product,” Shaun Owen, CEO of Transtech Consulting Services.
“MaxLoad Pro adds to the richness of our fully integrated offering which addresses the whole Transport Chain and not just a part.”
Bill Rehring, President of TOPS Engineering in Richardson, Texas is confident that the Australian market will respond positively to MaxLoad Pro being supported by a local distributor.
“Transtech’s innovative approach to logistics solutions and their ability to provide excellent local support ideally match our global standards,” says Rehring.
