Translogix Software announces that its flagship Sapphire transport management software is now available in the cloud.
The leading supplier of transport and logistics solutions, TransLogix now offers its Sapphire Transport Management System (TMS) as a cloud-based software-as-a-service, radically reducing adoption barriers, and allowing existing and new customers to slash costs and boost productivity.
The cloud-based Sapphire software is the result of a six-month development project initiated shortly after WiseTech Global acquired TransLogix in July 2012.
Sapphire is well-entrenched in Australia and New Zealand with over 30% market share in TMS solutions. However, the cost and complexity of implementation had left it out of the reach of small and mid-sized transport companies. By offering Sapphire as a cloud-based SaaS product, TransLogix removes virtually all the upfront costs associated with adopting the software, making it far easier to deploy and reduce running costs to a minimum.
Richard White, Chief Executive of WiseTech Global explains that the company has a deep understanding of delivering software in the cloud as well as all the required hardware, infrastructure and support services to ensure their customers have great outcomes. WiseTech provides free training, 24x7 support and a global disaster recovery capability spread across data centres on three continents. He adds that thousands of logistics companies around the world are already using WiseCloud with 98% of new customers choosing it over traditional platform delivery.
The Sapphire solution delivered via WiseCloud provides customers with benefits such as an easy and effective way to get the system live as quickly as possible for a fraction of the cost of a traditional software implementation, no need to maintain server hardware as well as the liberty to only pay for what they use each month.
