Parton Logistics, a fast-growing logistics company has employed a wide range of materials handling equipment from Toyota Material Handling Australia at its warehouses in Perth and Melbourne.
Parton Logistics is benefitting from the use of Toyota 32-8FG25 and 8FBN counter balance forklifts, BT Reflex RRE160M reach trucks and Raymond 8510 twin-pallet ride-ons to handle a variety of goods from industrial products and domestic electrical appliances to consumables.
Parton Logistics director Craig Walker explains that their warehouses have always had Toyota forklifts; they now use a variety of TMH brand products, including Toyota forklifts with clamp attachments, as well as BT reach loaders, Raymond ride-ons and electric counter-balance machines.
Pointing out that both the company founder Paul Parton and he have had positive experiences with Toyota equipment in the past, he said they never considered another brand because they could rely on Toyota’s service and backup. Parton Logistics has in fact, purchased some of the forklifts that were previously rented, underlining their faith in the product.
Parton Logistics is also confident that the sheer variety of equipment on offer ensures there would be a machine to handle every job arising out of their changing needs.
Mr Walker said Parton Logistics has enjoyed a strong relationship with the Kewdale TMH branch in Perth, and in particular with Area Sales Manager Tony McGuire.
Mr McGuire said Parton Logistics is a prime example of a company benefitting from employing Toyota equipment within their operation.
Parton Logistics retains its first Toyota forklift, a 5-FBRE14 model, purchased second-hand 10 years ago, which is still going strong and is a real testament to the reliability and longevity of Toyota equipment, according to Mr Walker.
Toyota Material Handling is the factory-owned national distributor for the comprehensive range of Toyota, BT Lift Truck and Raymond products as well as Toyota's leading-edge Huski skid-steer loader range, and a range of internal combustion and battery-electric towing tractors. TMHA is a one-stop-shop for a broad range of material handling requirements.
