A leading Australian forklift training organisation has selected Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) to supply a range of forklifts and warehouse equipment.

TAFT (Truck & Forklift Training) sought a range of load-shifting equipment from TMHA to equip its new facility at Somerton in Melbourne's north.

TAFT selected TMHA to supply four 1.8-tonne payload Toyota forklifts, two BT walkie stackers and a Raymond order picker. TMHA supplied all seven battery-electric units within TAFT'S required timeframes while meeting pricing and site servicing requirements.

TMHA offers a one-stop shop solution for material handling needs, with a comprehensive range of forklifts and warehouse equipment.

TAFT sales and marketing manager Simon Leach said they have received positive feedback from students and clients alike since introducing Toyota forklifts into the fleet. He observes that their partnership with Toyota Material Handling now gives their clients and operators a wider choice of equipment, ensuring the operators train on equipment that they will very likely be using in the workplace on a daily basis.

The seven forklifts are on long-term rental from Toyota Material Handling's Victorian branch.
