ONE of Australia's leading cold storage companies, Doboy Cold Stores, has selected Raymond double-deep reach trucks to service its main Brisbane warehouse.

The Hemmant-based company has leased four of the 7400 series trucks from the official south Queensland distributor of Raymond Lift Trucks, Toyota Material Handling (TMH) Qld .

Doboy selected Raymond from TMH Qld because of the strong relationship the two companies have had for more than 15 years.

Doboy managing director David O'Brien was happy to lease his new Raymond lift trucks from Toyota Material Handling Qld, following TICA's appointment as the national distributor*.

He says Raymond products have pioneered the industry and since Toyota took over distribution he has not had any problems.

He has had a long association with TMH Qld, and says it has always been very good, reliable and trustworthy.

TMH Qld's sales and rental manager, Bob Leck, said Doboy Cold stores had been a long-standing and loyal customer.

Leck said his company had been supplying them for more than 15 years and they were happy when TICA started distributing Raymond because they could further their relationship with TMH.

TMH has increased its involvement in the cold storage industry by becoming the gold sponsor of the Refrigerated Warehouse and Transport Association of Australia Ltd (RWTA).

The RWTA represents both the warehousing and transport sectors involved in the storage, distribution and transportation of temperature-controlled products.

*TICA is the official distributor of Raymond Forklifts to all States except WA.
