DELTREX Chemicals, a leading importer and blender of chemicals and food-grade products, has upgraded its forklift fleet with eight new Toyota machines.

Deltrex Chemicals has been leasing Toyota forklifts since the company moved to its current facility at Laverton North (Melbourne) in 1996.

The company's eight Toyota machines handle up to 1000t of bulk industrial chemicals, food grade product and cleaning products a week.

Deltrex Chemicals recently renewed its Toyota lease fleet with seven diesel-powered 2.5t payload Toyota 7FD25 machines. It also has a 3.5t payload LPG-fuelled Toyota 7FG35 machine.

Toyota's newly renamed Victorian forklift distributor, Toyota Material Handling (Vic) is headquartered in the previous Prolift Toyota premises at 712 Geelong Road, Brooklyn, Victoria 3025.

The 2.5t payload 7FD25 forklift is one of Toyota's extensive range of industry leading 7-Series internal combustion machines.

Toyota's 7-Series forklift range features Toyota's industry-leading safety systems, including Toyota's System of Active Stability (SAS).

SAS monitors key operations, detecting and counteracting instability to lower the risk of forklift rollover and hence ensure a safer working environment.
