DELTREX Chemicals has upgraded its forklift fleet with eight new Toyota machines to handle up to 1000t of bulk industrial chemicals, food grade product and cleaning products a week.
Deltrex Chemicals recently renewed its Toyota lease fleet with seven diesel-powered 2.5t payload Toyota 7FD25 machines. It also has a 3.5t payload LPG-fuelled Toyota 7FG35 machine.
Operations manager Ange Pastore said the company had leased Toyota forklifts for the last nine years.
“Competitive pricing and the excellent service back-up we receive from the local distributor are the key factors in our association with Toyota” Pastore said.
Deltrex Chemicals’ eight forklifts unload containers, moving bulk chemicals and loading blended product onto trucks.
The 2.5t payload 7FD25 forklift is one of Toyota’s range of 7-Series internal combustion machines. Toyota’s 7-Series forklift range has Toyota’s safety systems, including its System of active stability (SAS), which detects and counteracts instability to lower the risk of forklift rollover.
