KING GEE has developed Technotex, a new fabric which, it claims, is set to revolutionise the workwear market. Technotex is the optimum workwear fabric finish which provides protection from stains and spills while being easy to care for, comfortable and durable.
The fabric incorporates the stain resistance of Teflon, which is durable through constant washes and doesn't affect the fabric's feel or breathability, therefore offering maximum comfort and longer lasting workwear.
It also contains pre-shrunk fabric, offers UV50+ protection and features a twill construction to minimise abrasion.
Developed in partnership with fabric technology innovators Dupont and CIBA, Technotex is exclusive to the King Gee range.
As pioneers of Permanent Press and Wrinkle Free fabric, King Gee has a history of being at the forefront of product development in the workwear industry.
Sonia Young, national marketing manager at King Gee, said Technotex was the most advanced fabric in Australian workwear today, offering a real breakthrough in the performance of workwear clothing.
"In addition to looking good and feeling comfortable, at the end of the day what it means is less time in the laundry as it is easy to maintain, and because it's made to last, it's also easier on the hip pocket."
With 95 per cent brand awareness, King Gee is an Australian brand icon that is synonymous with the rugged and unpretentious values of the Australian blue-collar worker.
Celebrating its 75th anniversary last year, King Gee has been working since 1926 to provide workers with the most comfortable and durable workwear.
