Free standing Gorbel crane systems, available from Total Lifting Solutions , are useful when the crane system cannot be attached to the building structure. It incorporates two parallel runways suspended under a header support structure with a bridge beam that travels along the runways.
The hoist trolley attaches to the bridge providing full lifting coverage under the entire area. These crane systems can be supplied with multiple bridges with varying capacities according to the lay out of the area to be covered. A free standing system can also incorporate free standing columns on one side and ceiling attachment on the other depending on the building structure. Gorbel crane systems have a capacity range from 125kg to 2000kg.
