Toshiba TEC Australia announces the introduction of a new range of heavy duty industrial printers designed for user-friendly operation on the production line.
In addition to an enhanced level of performance, Toshiba BEX4 industrial label printers now offer dramatically reduced operating costs thanks to advances in Toshiba TEC technology, to further lower the low TCO.
Low energy consumption, user-friendly operation, durability and usability are some of the product benefits of the new Toshiba BEX4 industrial label printers.
Toshiba label printers are equipped with the world-class Green technology ribbon saving function. Toshiba BEX4 industrial label printers have nearly 40% overall lower power consumption compared to their predecessor, also benchmarking up to 50% lower power consumption on standby power against competitor label printers.
The Toshiba B-EX4 is equipped with premium capabilities as standard including the patented snap-in print head and a tool-less platen replacement, which can now be serviced by the user, reducing the hardware service cost.
A unique LCD graphical ‘helpdesk’ display improves the settings operation, reduces training requirements and allows users to take immediate corrective action where needed.
The new B-EX4 also features a built-in automatic thermal head resolution detection function, DHCP address display and an automatic feeding/ back-feeding function to the default position.
Durability = Low Service Cost
Toshiba BEX4 industrial label printers feature a print head lifecycle of around 4 million inches (100km). The value-packed industrial printer also comes with double ribbon motor control, automatic centre media loading, edge type print head and side media opening among other features.
The new Toshiba BEX4 industrial label printers offer 40% higher productivity with a real-world print speed of 14ips compared to 10ips for the B-SX4.
The printers come standard with Ethernet and USB 2.0 in addition to optional parallel port and wireless LAN capability for fast-paced industrial printing applications with minimal need for maintenance.
