TOOLKWIP Pumps has released new, improved models of its successful Drumflo and Wallflo air operated drum pumps.
These pumps use a minimal amount of compressed air to pump liquids out of drums.
The corrosion-resistant materials enable handling of a wide variety of liquids, and the positive displacement pump design means various viscosities can also be handled, from thin, water-like products, to thick products such as SAE80W-90 oil, and detergents.
Benefits of the pump include low purchase price, variable flow and pressure, run dry capability without damage, automatic 'on demand' operation for filling when used with trigger nozzle, self-priming, and light weight.
Features of the new model include a clear, see-through cover, ergonomic carry-handle, quick-release suction tube, and wall-mount hanging bracket for storage.
The Wallflo version has a robust polypropylene plate for securely mounting the pump to a wall, and a two metre suction hose with semi-rigid polypropylene suction spear.
Accessories available include trigger nozzle, discharge hose, and high viscosity suction tubes.
Manual lifting and tipping of drums of acids, detergents, oils, etc, is increasingly being regarded as an unacceptable hazard, as well as being inefficient in achieving effective and controlled transfer of liquids.
