INTERNATIONAL focus on the hazards of human exposure to vibration from power tools and machinery is intensifying.
The Larson Davis HMV 100 digital human vibration meter has been designed to assist in the evaluation, monitoring and remediation of these problems.
Available from Davidson Measurement , it incorporates the latest requirements for human vibration standards in a multilingual digital signal processor (DSP) based instrument.
The HVM contains frequency weightings and measurements for vibration, hand arm, and whole body. It simultaneously measures X, Y, Z axes and sum. It also provides sensor compatibility with internal support for voltage mode (ICP), charge mode or direct input, thus allowing the use of most sensors.
The HVM 100 is a lightweight instrument that will display and print in multiple languages. User programmable ac or dc outputs (one for each channel) can be utilised to record weighted or un-weighted signals.
With a store/recall facility of up to 100 files with all metrics, the HVM 100 provides state-of-the-art technology at an extremely affordable price.
