Thermo Fisher Scientific has released dual-mode signal conditioners that power ICP and charge output piezoelectric pressure, force, strain, and vibration sensors, and condition their output signals for transmitting to readout and recording instruments.

Single, four, and eight-channel configurations are available, with a choice of ac or dc-coupled. Ac and dc power options allow for both laboratory and field use.

Factory-supplied external universal power supplies connect to 115V/230V ac power outlets. Signal conditioners can also be used with a 28V dc power supply, a 12V dc auto lighter power adapter, or a portable dc power source.

Units have keypad control with an option for an RS-232 computer control setup. They us a vivid matrix display for enhanced readability. Optional features include fixed gain (x1, x10, x100) or incremental gain (0.0025 to 200), various low pass filters ranging from 100Hz to 100kHz, clamped output for repetitive pulses, integration, and switched auxiliary output.
