Description of the basic unit of our Coding Systems
This on-line Intermittent / Continuous Overprinting Coding System is specifically designed for transferring Best Before Dates, Batch Codes and Traceability information onto 100 percent of the products manufactured during production in real time. The Coding system is attached to a Parent Packaging Machine by way of clever designed bracket allowing the printed information to be placed exactly on the packaging film for clear display for your customer’s assurance.

The 55sst has the capability to switch from Intermittent operating mode to Continuous operating mode electronically without the need for mechanical change over. Whenever the process lends itself to, and the option is chosen, the unit can send information back to the Parent Coding Systems Machine to indicate that production should be halted due to system errors or the last print has been made for the Batch Count. This allows direct real-time control of non-conforming printed information on the packaged products. Ribbon Saving is an automatic feature of the way that the Jaguar 55sst Printing System and works by way of cleaver print image design as well as the precise ribbon advance control offered by the latest technology.
