The Improve Group has appointed Catherine Morato to provide free business reviews in Brisbane under the Australian Industry Productivity Centre initiative.
This program allows manufacturers with a turnover of between $2-100m per annum to access a free 5 day business review, including the development of an improvement strategy.
The review is a whole of business approach and includes financial, organisational, operational and market conditions.
Upon completion of the review companies are eligible for subsidised grants up to $20,000 to implement the recommendations using tailored advisory services provided by industry experts and consultants.
Cathy Morato has been actively involved in business and business management for over twenty-five years. She has considerable experience having worked with a range of businesses and industries including education, retail, transport and mining.
Cathy Morato’s knowledge and expertise in business have been developed working as a financial controller and in areas of business diagnostics and development, strategic planning and systems development and implementation.
In the past, Cathy Morato has run her own consultancy business, and was called upon to undertake various tasks for small to medium businesses, ranging in size and complexity. This included performing business diagnostics to identify areas of weakness within the business and implement plans for improvement, including ongoing monitoring.
Cathy Morato has also implemented operational and strategic business plans.
Other past work experience has included Cathy Morato’s role as a business analyst and financial controller.
Cathy Morato is looking forward to using her skills to assist Queensland SMEs in her role as business adviser with the Australian Industry Productivity Centres.
