In what is likely to be a mutually beneficial relationship, The Improve Group (NZ) have become associate members of the New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association (NZMEA).
NZMEA was formed by the merger of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association and the New Zealand Engineers’ Federation in August 2007, both of which had been long established in New Zealand.
The Association focuses on the manufacturing and export sectors with several different groups within it such as a Food Group, Engineering Group, Apparel and Textile Group and others looking after specific sectors.
The aim of the association is to lobby government departments in order to support manufacturers and exporters. And they also offer industry advice and training in areas like Employment Law, Exporting Advice, H&S, and HR.
The Improve Group will provide NZMEA’s members with advice on productivity improvement and maintain long term relationships with many of them. And in return, will be able to draw on their experience in Lean Manufacturing, Change Management and Process Design.
