MATROX Imaging, represented in Australia by Dindima Group Pty Ltd , has announced the latest addition to the Matrox Iris P-Series family of programmable smart cameras designed for professional developers and OEMs, the Iris P300H.
It includes a high-speed monochrome 640 x 480 at 100fps 1/3" type CCD sensor, which makes it suitable for high throughput inspection applications that require simple analysis/processing of images.
The Matrox Iris P-Series family is powered by an Ultra Low Power (ULP) Celeron and embedded Intel architecture processor. They run the Windows CE.NET real-time operating system and are programmed using Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++.
OEMs and integrators can develop their applications with the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL), the industry's ultimate toolbox for image processing solutions and run them directly on Matrox Iris P-Series.
The Matrox Iris P-Series are smart cameras that support the flexibility of PC-based machine vision systems and are the first Matrox products of its kind to feature hardware for image sensing as well as a software API (application programming interface) for image analysis.
The Matrox Iris P-Series camera family is fully programmable and can be customised by OEM and integrators for vertical markets such as automotive, electronics, pharmaceutical, robotics, surveillance and traffic control.
