The normal procedure for staff manning the Attic Ladders exhibit at Sydney's Royal Easter Show is to promote products and service and to elicit future obligation-free appraisals from show goers interested in doing something with the space in their roof cavities.
However, during the 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show, Attic Ladders's staff managed to sell a number of ladders on the spot.
Captivated by the innovative variety of attic ladders on display and featured in colourful brochures, dozens of show goers elected to purchase ladders on the spot.
Attic Ladders did not have stock at the show but arrangements were made daily by staff for a customer to either pick up a ladder at its Tempe showroom and factory or to have it delivered to their home, office or workshop.
Attic Ladders was pleased with the success of the 2007 Royal Easter Show exhibit, which was a great success on all fronts thus promoting the company's products and services and securing many hundreds of requests for obligation-free appraisals.
