TEST and Tag Supplies has announced the re-launch of Trio's SafeTcheck portable appliance tester.
The device, regarded by many as the safest, most advanced 'pass/fail' portable appliance tester, is now available with memory and data logging.
This feature allows asset information recording within the SafeTcheck internal memory at the time of testing.
Straightforward data entry with the Trio SafeTcheck
The original Trio SafeTcheck was designed with simplicity and safety in mind - the new SafeTcheck is no exception. Only the key asset information is recorded in the SafeTcheck memory. This is a welcome departure from systems which require masses of data entry before testing.
And, rather than an impractical mini keypad, the Trio SafeTcheck is fitted with a PS/2 interface. This allows any PS/2 keyboard to be connected to the SafeTcheck. Small keyboards fit neatly inside the lid of the SafeTcheck and a barcode scanner can also be used - allowing rapid asset number data entry.
Conveniently, the Trio SafeTcheck will output a comma separated file - rather than a specific manufacturer format. This will allow data import into an existing asset database or excel spreadsheets.
A complete testing solution
The arrival of the data logging puts the Trio SafeTcheck in a unique position in terms of features. The highly regarded tester now delivers a complete testing and inspection solution which few (if any) other testers can meet:
* Earth testing at 200mA, 10A, and 25A*
* RCD testing (fixed and portable - 10mA and 30mA)*
* Data logging
*Available as Trio SafeTcheck factory fitted options.
Better value for money
Despite the many improvements, Trio has lowered the cost of the SafeTcheck - delivering a line of packages at lower than ever prices. This positions the Trio SafeTcheck in competition with some of the less advanced testers currently available.
There are three Trio SafeTcheck packages available. They include test tags and an Insulation Cloak (supplied exclusively by Test and Tag Supplies for the SafeTcheck).
