TEST and Tag Supplies has announced the addition of the MeasureSafe 36A RCD tester to its product range, complementing the existing range of portable appliance testers, RCD testers, asset software, and test tag labels.
The MeasureSafe 36A RCD tester is an easy to use, digital recording RCD tester, designed and built in Australia to meet the testing requirements of the AS/NZS3760:2003 and various Occupational Health and Safety Acts around Australia and New Zealand.
Simple to use, but featuring a host of advanced test features, the MeasureSafe 36A RCD tester enables a range of tests including:
* Trip current testing
* Trip time testing
* Selectable test slope (0, 90, 180, 270 degrees)
In addition, the MeasureSafe 36A RCD tester is capable of recording results for download to a PC - a feature sometimes only available in RCD testers costing twice as much.
Unlike many RCD testers, the MeasureSafe 36A RCD tester has no complex dials to set prior to testing. The user can simply plug the RCD tester into the mains outlet socket and press the test button. The RCD tester will automatically test, report the mains voltage and provide the results of the test.
The MeasureSafe 36A RCD tester will alternate between the trip current and trip time test. Alternatively, users can select their own RCD test conditions providing both simple and thorough testing.
Another unique feature of the RCD tester is its ability to test at any one of four angles - 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees. This enables a wide range of fault conditions to be generated.
The MeasureSafe 36A RCD tester is supplied with mains lead, manual, and carry case, and is available in 3 models:
* 0k - No results storage
* 32k - 2000 results storage
* 64k - 4000 results storage
