Thermocouples are frequently used in temperature control and testing to increase the temperature ranges which can be tested and controlled by a temperature testing and control device.
In order to provide protection and prolong the use of thermocouples, Temperature Controls’ have developed a range of thermocouple protection sheaths.
The company offers five different types of thermocouple protection sheaths. These include the Dimulit and Pythagoras ceramics thermocouple sheaths.
The key benefits and features of the company's ceramic protection sheaths include:
- made of strong ceramic material
- are gas tight
- suitable for use up to 1400°C
The company’s Alsint and Alumina protection sheaths are made of 99.7% alumina and 3% ceramic materials. These sheaths are particularly suited for protecting metal thermoucouples.
For protection against high working temperatures of up to 1700°C and to protect against chemical attack, the company’s Rubalit thermocouple sheaths are the best solution.
Temperature Controls' thermocouple protection sheaths all come in 6mm - 25 mm lengths. They are also available in 600mm and 1000mm stock lengths that are particularly suited for heavy duty industrial requirements.
