RTD and thermocouple temperature assemblies

Many manufactures supply Ex d certified terminal housings fitted to temperature probes, which are not certified for installation within hazardous area locations.

Sydney-based Temperature Controls has a new range of RTD and thermocouple temperature assemblies fully certified Ex d and Ex e to the IECEx certification scheme for installation in both Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous area locations.

The RTD and thermocouple temperature probes have been dual certified Ex de IIC. When fitted to the lagging extension the probes are suitable for use in the full range of temperature classifications from T1 to T6.

The temperature probes are available with either a fixed nipple or a spring loaded nipple. The probes can be supplied fitted to either the traditional Ex d IIC T6 terminal head, the new easy to install Ex e IIC T6 terminal head or to other manufacturers Ex d certified transmitters.
