TEMA Engineers Pty Ltd has opened their first Queensland office to service the growing coal industry in this state.
Tema/Siebtechnik coal centrifuges have been installed in Queensland mines for over 30 years and with a trend towards outsourcing maintenance to OEMs or third party providers, a Queensland Tema branch is a necessity.
The Tema Queensland office is headed by Phill Connor, who has 14 years experience with Tema and was previously Works Manager in Sydney. Phill can be contacted on 07 4121 7329 or 0417 209 914.
The Tema Queensland office is located at Lot 2, 2 Industrial Ave in Maryborough.
With the shortage of quality labour and facilities, and the resulting high prices in traditional coal industry centres, a Maryborough base allows Tema Engineers to access high quality but low cost local engineering services.
Maryborough is less than three hours drive from the coal mines of the lower Bowen basin.
All mechanism and full coarse coal centrifuge rebuilds and fine coal centrifuge scroll rebuilds will be done by the Queensland branch. A full range of centrifuge spares will be stocked.
The Queensland office will also service the large number of belt press filter, upflow sand filters and lamella thickeners installed in Queensland’s potable water treatment and waste water treatment plants.
The New South Wales coal and water treatment industries are serviced by Tema from both Sydney and Newcastle as well as through alliances with a number of maintenance contractors.
