Earlier this month Tektronix announced that the Sentry digital content monitor has been shortlisted in the final round of this year’s IP&TV Industry Awards.
The Sentry, from Tektronics, was nominated Perceptual Video Quality (PVQ) monitoring capabilities, which enable VSPs to gauge the actual subscriber impact of video and audio errors. As a result issues can be more effectively prioritised, which significantly reduces repair times and operational expenses.
"This latest honor shows that the industry recognizes our commitment to advancing Sentry's already industry-leading content monitoring capabilities to ensure it meets the needs of video service providers (VSP) today and tomorrow," said Eben Jenkins, general manager, Video Product Line, Tektronix.
The results will be announced during the IP&TV World Forum 2012, which will be held 20th-22th March in London.
